Item of the Day - USB Drives

As more and more people are becoming laptop and netbook users, USB drives are developing increasing popularly as the option of choice for materials distribution forRotate colors meetings, seminars, training programs and marketing campaigns.  For many, they are replacing the tabbed, three ring binders which have been the standard method of distribution in the past.

USB drives are a fraction of the size of three ring binders and hold more information.  They cost less to ship initially and are more convenient for people traveling to transport. They are available in an expanding number of styles, colors and storage capacities. The drive pictured here is one of the most popular on the market and is available in 19 standard colors (with PMS matching available).  In most cases, data can be preloaded on the drives at the plant as part of the production process.

The typical decoration methods are screenprinting and laser engraving. Production can be anywhere from one day for in-stock models to the more standard 10 to 15 working days for regular production.  They can be packaged in anything from shrinkwrap to custom presentation folders that enhance your presentation or campaign.

You can also look to USB drives to support your eco-friendly initiatives as they are perfect solutions to your efforts to reduce and reuse.

Item of the Day - Checkpoint Friendly Computer Bags

The Transportation Safety Adminstration challenged manufacturers to Gem 2614come up with computer bags to solve two problems- #1: decrease the congestion at airport security check-in and  #2: decrease the number of laptop computers that are left behind by passengers rushing to make their flights.  The Life In Motion line of bags seems to have met the challenge on both counts.

The key feature of this line is that each style of bag is designed to allow the laptop to always remain in the bag - whether in a tethered tray or compartment built right into the bag. The laptop is accessable to the airport security agent but it never leaves the bag.  Once all security requirements are met, the tray slips right back into the bag and you are on your way (given you've retrieved your shoes, keys, coins, phone etc).

There are currently six styles in the Life In Motion line, ranging from the ladies' Capri tote to a mobile office on wheels.  There's a backpack that holds a 14" laptop and a messenger bag style that holds up to a 17" model.  There are multiple decorating options including embroidery and screenprinting.  The Life In Motion line is competitively priced with opening order minimums of 12 to 25 pieces, making them perfect solutions for holiday giving, employee incentive programs and company stores.
